Maybe the urge to preserve / update net-art (and related computational forms) should be abandoned in favour of seeing them as "happenings" that only truly existed in the moment - everything else is mere documentation.

(Of course when and where that moment actually occurred in in post-temporospatial environment is an interesting question...)
